St Matthew’s Church
Sundays at St Matthew's
- 8am – A traditional celebration of the Eucharist from the New Zealand Prayer Book, with hymns and a sermon, with coffee and tea served after the service.
- 10am – A lively family-oriented service, with modern worship music. Children’s programmes are held during the service.
- Choral Evensong – Held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, 5pm in Winter and 7pm in Summer.
Thursday 10am – Mid-week Eucharist, held in the Narthex (the foyer of St. Matthew’s). Structure is sometimes partly abandoned, as open discussion and questions are encouraged.
St Andrew’s in the Paddock, Upper Plain
10am Celebration of the Eucharist on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month, led by Rev Liz Greville.
Services include the finest hymns from the Anglican tradition and modern writers such as Shirley Murray and Colin Gibson. St Andrew's in the Paddock is also the home of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
St Alban's, Taueru
9.30 am Eucharist on the 1st Sunday of each month.
This New Zealand Prayer Book Eucharist is led by the Rev'd Merv Jones, assisted by his wife, Lay Minister Lorraine, in the beautiful Frederic de Jersey Clere church at Taueru.
Church of St Francis of Assisi, Bideford
9am Eucharist on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
A Eucharist is led by the Rev'd Liz Greville, assisted by Lay Minister Anne Kershaw, in the little Church of St Francis, built in 1875.
